Hello! Welcome to The Pretty Little Atheist.
My name is
Heather and I’m a proud, self-proclaimed Atheist. Over the last 12 years, I’ve
taken some of the most thought-provoking educational adventures where I learned
how to question my surroundings by analyzing all possible probabilities through
a critical lens. My forays in theatre, literature, arts and culture have not
only earned me a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre Studies, Master of Arts in
Comparative Literature and Post-Graduate Certificate in Public Relations, but
have paved the way for the open discussion and theoretical analyses needed on a
journey towards atheism.
I love to read, sing and partake in all things theatre. I
have an incredible sweet tooth with a special penchant for chocolate. I play
baseball and occasionally hit the gym. My two cats think I’m crazy. I don’t eat
pork because I love pigs too dearly. Oh, and did I mention that my life partner
and both our extended families are devout Catholics?
Please join me on this critical adventure as I attempt to
make sense of my small role as an atheist in this great big [religious?] world.
This is the crossroads where theological ideas are debunked and re-imagined as
mappings of a forward-thinking 21st century.
